In this final episode, we’re stopping by Cassata Royale (@cassataroyale), a beloved Italian-East African fusion food business that offers a wide variety of flavours.
We’ll be trying all 5 of their cassata flavours; The Original, mocha, french vanilla, pistachio, and mango biscoff.
Cassata ice cream is a traditional dish from Italy and usually has 3 flavours of ice cream arranged side by side – also sometimes known as Neapolitan or Harlequin Ice Cream.
Cassata Royale, however, follows a traditional East African method that is fondly enjoyed on the coast of Dar es Salaam, Tanazania.
